catch it的意思与使用方法

口语中说catch it，意思是“受罚”“挨骂”，等于be punished or scolded。如：

If I come home late, I’ll catch it from my mother. 假如我回家晚了，我母亲会骂我。

If your father finds you here, you’ll really catch it! 如果你爸爸了解你在这里，你非挨骂不可!

If the teacher sees you doing that, you’ll catch it. 如果老师发现你如此做，你会挨骂的。

If your dad finds out you’ll really catch it!如果你父亲了解了，你一定要挨剋！

另外，有时还可表示“被打中”。如：

He caught it right in the eye. 她的双眼被打个正着。

注：catch it主要用于英国英语中，在美国英语中多用catch hell或get it。
